A late entry to the Sporting Events but a very welcome one.
This Saturday 7th May I will be in Killarney for the 3 Climbs Cycle.
The 3 climbs cycle was set up by two Kerry cyclists, Maurice Brosnan & Tony Galway before they undertook 2200km cycle over 17 days across Europe from Ireland concluding in Rome Italy with a team of other cyclists from around Ireland on June 2014. The proceeds of the 3 climbs cycle for 2016 will be donated to St. Mary’s of the Angels, Beaufort, which is a home for severely mentally handicapped children. The 3 climbs cycle is also a suicide awareness cycle.
The 3 climbs cycle committee is made up of experienced cyclists, Traffic Controllers, Stewards, and Fist Aid responders with lots of experience organising many successful Safe enjoyable events. The Event Director is Maurice Brosnan.
